About this site
This website is published by the Oahu South Shore Foundation, formed to raise private funds to preserve and sustain the historic Waikiki Yacht Club and other non-profit organizations anchoring South Shore harbors. It is an information site.
The Foundation and the Waikiki Yacht Club are separate organizations. A gift to the Foundation is a gift to the Foundation. It is not a payment to the Club, and it is not Club dues.
Information is provided as it stands
We take care to keep this site accurate and current, but we publish it without warranty of any kind. Nothing on it is legal, tax, or financial advice.
Gifts and tax treatment
The Oahu South Shore Foundation is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, and can receive gifts and bequests for the preservation of the Club's historic buildings. The Foundation's Federal EIN is 33-3987023. We are glad to provide a copy of our IRS determination letter on request.
Contributions to the Foundation are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. Whether any particular gift is deductible, and by how much, depends on your own circumstances — please consult your tax adviser.
Gifts are applied at the Foundation's discretion in furtherance of its purposes. Donations are generally not refundable. If you believe a gift was made in error, write to us and we will look at it.
Payments
Online donations are processed by Clover, not by this website. Clover's own terms govern that transaction, and we never see or handle your card details.
Content and marks
The text, photographs, and design of this site belong to the Foundation or are used with permission. Please ask before reproducing them. The Waikiki Yacht Club name and burgee belong to the Club and are used with the Club's agreement.

We link to other organizations where it is useful. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Hawaii.
