About Us

Founded upon a passion for sailing, camaraderie, and the vibrant spirit of Honolulu, the Waikiki Yacht Club has proudly fostered ocean adventures and community connections since 1944. In 2024, the WYC was added to the Hawaii Historic Register and OSSF was created to preserve and sustain this iconic organization.

Both organizations are committed to preserving our coastal environment and promoting sustainable marine practices. Through community events, educational programs, and responsible stewardship, we aim to enrich and sustain our island community.
